About Well-being Profiles

Well-being Profiles bring together the scores for each of the main component indicators of personal well-being and social well-being to provide a picture of the character of well-being for a particular country, group or person. Emotional well-being is split into its two subcomponents so Well-being Profiles have eight points.

The blue line shows the indicator scores for the selected country or group on each of the well-being components while the grey line shows the average score across Europe (5 on each indicator). You can compare the Profiles for two countries by adding a second country from the drop down menu, whose results will be shown by the pink line.

If you have taken the survey you can also see your own results in green.

Note that when the Profile shows two countries’ results, any filters you choose will apply to the results for both countries.
